Main aakhan main rab nun paya lokin mande gal nahin; Apni beeti aap sunawan is vich koi chhal nahi. Main eh jeende jee peaa aakhan mukti loko pa layi ey; Janam maran di faahi loko apne gal chon laah lai ey. Mere byaan ne halfiya loko main hun jamna marna nahin; Kahe avtar us dharmraaj ton is meri rooh darna nahin. |

I proclaim that I have realized God, but people do not believe this; I narrate my own story and there is no delusion about it. While living, I proclaim that I have attained salvation; And that I have removed from my neck the shackles of births and deaths. I do solemnly declare that hereafter I shall not take birth and then die; Avtar says, my soul is not to be scared of the King of Death. |
Meaning
I declare that I have realized God, but people do not believe this. I narrate my own story and there is no dishonesty about it. While living, I am declaring that I have attained salvation and that I have removed the bonds (chains) of births and deaths from my neck. I do seriously declare that hereafter I shall not take birth and die. Here Baba Avtar Singh ji says that my soul is not to be scared of the Death King.
